dating fiona.

i gave myself a loong weekend
since i had some leave to clear.
plus i think i really needed a break.
(i must have been working non-stop since sept.!)

so my mini holiday started with a date with Fiona,
lunching on thursday afternoon at clarke quay.
we both took a really long and big lunch
at sun with moon in central
since fiona had some 15% off coupon.
whoa, and when i say big, i mean BIG!
teriyaki cod with sashimi salad lunch set for me (this came with the usual pickles, miso soup, rice and fruits), cold tempura soba for fiona.
avocado soft shell crab roll, and tuna with avocado rice paper rolls to share.

as though all that wasnt enough, i made us order desserts too!
ive always wanted to try the lunch desserts right,
have heard about them since way back last year!
so. black coffee and chocolate cake with ice cream and dried mango dipped in chocolate, and honjichi pudding - black tea and sesame pudding with sweet sauce and crispy sesame sugar stick.

wonderful! everything is wonderful!
so wonderful in fact, i wish we could date like this all the time!
not to mention, we finished all our food!
and i mean, ALL our food.!!! every single bit of it!
well done us i say!
