just decided to post some webbies for yall about html since you've all been complaining about it.. im no expert myself, just dabbling a lil bit here and there.. but i got my basics from this How Stuff Works website.. easiest way to learn i think.. and it really helps ya understand wat all those things are..

and then my fren introduced this WebMonkey site to me for more codes.. but if youre looking at something really basic then i think the How Stuff Works one should do the trick..

alternatively, you could use programs like macromedia's dreamweaver or microsoft's frontpage to help you build your webpages..
