all the way in timbuktu

i sent the car for servicing earlier this week
and while it was doing its thing
mom and i had a wonderful prawn noodle and coffee lunch
before hopping on a random bus to hang out till we collected the car.

and thus we entered the other side of the world
also known as hougang.
not really my favourite or ideal place to be
i think jasmine would totally understand why
half the time i was being paranoid
but in my defense i feel i have grounds to do so.

it turned out to be quite a fulfilling afternoon actually
managed to get some new handsets to replace our really shitty phone at home
and i borrowed some stuff that i wanted from the library!!
(this was also where i was kinda followed around by an old man who kept smiling and saying hello to me. hmmm.)
plus plus i found a pair of nice red peep toe shoes! on sale!
and you know i dont usually have the easiest of times buying shoes..

an afternoon cup of coffee and some pastries
just sitting there yakking and chilling with books
and i get the most fantastic phone call in the world!
one which i have been waiting for for.. more than a month?!
but woweee whoop whoop!!! (:

so good day good day it was
but it was also the day i slept for only 2 hours
so tired sleepy and achy it was too.
