huh?? how can the water level not depend on the amount of rice and the container! none of the variables are constant!! like if i use your method on rice in a deeper container, then i pour everything into a shallower container, the water level would be different what..! hmm, nevertheless, i will try that the next time i make rice.. and i will let you guys know how it turns out.. heh
