well now, where to start? just 4 days of no posts and already so many things to say! there's first day of school, peilin's REAL birthday surprise, and of course! GRAND PRIX!!
heh shall start with the most recent one so i guess thats le Grand Prix! hehe yes! i got tickets to the grand prix!! wheee!! haha how fun is that?!!!
woke up like early this morning to go down to Albert Park.. but it was worth it! we didnt get to see the actual race lah, only the practice sessions and the qualifying rounds.. cos it was on a cheaper day.. (the real stuff's on saturday and sunday) but good enough lah.. the cars were so fast okay! so hard to take photos! cos gotta account for the camera's delay also! so there were a lot of shots of.. nothing.. haha but ya, managed to get some okay shots lah..
so exciting okay, so full of cars and girls! woohooo!! ferrari girls, maXfactor girl, cleanevent girls, vodafone girls, rev girls, autospace girls.. everything!! and got supermodel...!!! nikki whelan.. havent exactly heard of her, but who cares! haha.. *grin* super hot maaannnn..!! phewww..!
other than the race there was the historical cars parade, the cleanevent race.. oh and we went to a shed of pre-war cars, and i swear it was like bruce wayne's garage okay.. wah piang eh!! cool stuff man..! no autographs though, just wasnt there at the correct time.. oh, but i did get harassed by a milk carton though.. haha yes as in a walking milk carton.. he forced me to take a picture with him, then after that he grabbed me in like a huge hug kinda thing and wouldnt let go! heh, he did lah eventually..
These are the 2 cars i was rooting for during the cleanevent race!
and after the whole thing, we went down to this cheap italian "fast food" joint called la porchetta for nice dinner of pizza and lasagne.. (but kinda getting sick of pizza already man!) and then! we went down to Lygon Street to walk around! at the Little Italy side of Lygon Street, everyone's a big ferrari fan! so there were ferrari colours and flags and posters and napkins and shops selling merchandise everywhere!! coolness!
!!! but on the way there in the tram, the ticket inspectors came up and demanded to see everyone's tickets! so scary i tell you, i didnt have one lah, cos my weekly ticket had already expired and ive got no money to get another! (so sad right!) then, so lucky noel had a spare one man, if not sure kenna hundred dollar fine one.. sheesh.. can get heart attack man..
anyway, by the time we reached home, we had been out for more than 12 hours!! and we've only been sitting down for a grand total of.. an hour!! aahhhh!!!! legs are so tired i tell you..! and then, i suddenly get a call from this girl asking me to go clubbing???! heh no thank you man..
aiya, i wanted to post about all the other things that i missed out on also, but too tired lah.. and my housemate needs to use the phone line.. sigh.. i guess not then huh.. well, its the Moomba Waterfest tomorrow evening then..! (:
