trees

trees grow tall and strong
i didn't do any wrong,
though sometimes it is hard to tell.

the other day my heart fell so far down it caused much more than a frown
and a sound.
so loud.

you know, you can't have a cloud.
because it becomes nothing when you reach out and grasp.
you end up but fighting to own the unattainable.
just stay on the ground where you are more stable.
though at times thats objectable.

you want to throw it all away,
but do you really want to go?
away?
it's impossible to know.

so watch what you say.
you might regret it.
