the satay man, the satay man..

well if you were at liz's tonight, it would have been me.
liz had a barbecue at her place for her birthday
and guess who ended up doing ALL the cooking?
me and fiona!!!
our friends are useless.
you should have seen them 'toasting' their bread on the hot plate.
seriously hilarious! always forgetting the bread,
then getting it burnt and screaming!
and being very satisfied with it hahahaaa

busy fanning the extremely narrow charcoal pit i was
that i think was just made to cook satay.
not much space there was..
but we managed quite well indeed..
fiona was using these tiny tongs and her fingers looked swollen after!
so much crying from all the smoke going into my eyes man!
at least everyone was well fed right?!
didnt eat too much just cos didnt feel like it..
but i had some hokkien mee and fiona's famous salad before,
plus finished up the salad and some leftover beef after..
fiona's salad is the best i swear!!
feta cheese galore! plus raisins and almonds! mmmmmmm!!!

a slightly frozen tiramisu birthday cake we had
before we gave jasmine her erm very late birthday present
of a holga camera with medium format film. old school!
liz got a 4 ingredient recipe book, hope something comes out of that!

singapore version taboo we played till almost 2am!
with liz being the taboo police! haha
i had to keep yelling at ray every time it was our team's turn
cos he was either busy taking photos or watching tennis!
i bet we now have enough incriminating photos to last a lifetime.
jay z made his come back as hip, hop and cool! haha
