we don't always get what we want

have you ever wanted anything so bad you thought you might do anything to get it?
even if it meant waiting for forever?
but would you really? would you really wait forever?

i guess it would depend on whether you thought it was worth it.
and what if it was? what then?
how long does forever really last?

and then, what if, after all that waiting, you dont get it in the end.
what do you do then?
hmm more like, what should you do now then?
how do you prepare yourself for not being able to get what you want?
do you still wait?
is it possible to do both at the same time..?

i never thought this entirely possible, but now maybe i think you can wait for something even while thinking you dont have the slightest chance of attaining it.
