get me to the church on time!

Danny's wedding on saturday morning was wonderful!
not that ive been to many weddings, but i think it was quite nicely done.
very cute small touches, like a big sign on a street lamp telling people where to park!
and an usher in the car park telling people where to go!

here's the best part.. guess who sat next to me?!!! farand!
wow! and we even managed to talk a bit!
like when i horrendously discovered that i plain forgot to put coupons in my car..
i asked if he did and he said, "of course la!"
then he started teasing me about how the parking aunties will check on the cars cos they know there's a wedding there!!!
and of course the pastor had to go and talk about obeying parking rules and getting fined.

i never thought i would ever hear danny speak chinese, but i also never imagined he would cry.
well he did them both at the same time when he was thanking his parents,
so much so that he couldnt say what he wanted to, and his lovely new wife audrey had to say it for him.
awww.. so sweet dont you think?
they look so good together.. (i think danny lost weight though.)

i wasnt really looking forward to mingling with the commies much at the lunch recep,
but surprisingly it went quite well..
had a good time laughing at hilary with his rounder face, and the way his gf keeps giving him food from her plate HAHA
didnt catch up with everyone, but i realise now there were some i really should have spoken to, and some i really wanted to speak more to.
there was andy, kelvin, ernest (who's back to his good old self i heard), terence (who appeared with a mop of curls?!), lena, yilian (who came carrying a giant brick of a purse), mark (who very weirdly decided to shake my hand when he first saw me?!), farand (who sat next to me), sueann, fi, brandon (who lives in my block), hilary and joanne. and of course jessica and myself.

amazingly danny and his lovely new wife audrey came around to take a picture with the whole bunch of us, but of course we are never going to see the picture right?
plus, lousy all of us. no one took any photos with each other.
see, i would have except that i took one miserable photo during the ceremony and the battery went flat. fantastic.
so when jess and i got back to the car (I DIDNT GET FINED! HAH!) i made us take some pictures together!
and you know i kept looking like i was naked! cos i was wearing a tube dress la! how silly..

you know i just have to have that pose right? haha
