Greetings from Mount Fuji!!
which by now, i am inclined to agree with Fiona's dad
that it does not exist.
after an entire day, there is no sight of the majestic mountain to be found.
not even a sliver of a shadow.
i dont even know which direction it is in!
DISAPPOINTING!
and being so conservative, there's just no hot spring action to be had
because you have to go in stark naked
and with a bunch of strangers? i dont think so.
even more so not with my family man!
in any case, a good time was had in the area..
had a paddle around Lake Kawaguchiko
in one of those boats that you have to paddle with your legs..
so damn hilarious, especially when a speedboat whizzes by,
and the resulting waves cause the boat to bob furiously
up and down or left and right!!
then went looking for a Kimono museum
which is just the best thing in the world!!
i can truly say, this is one beautiful place.
the area was landscaped from a forest, so the air was super fresh
and the architecture was just fantastic.
(part of it reminds me of Gaudi's work in Barcelona)
so much that i even made the effort to use my under-utilised camera haha
and the kimonos.. such wonderful wonderful masterpieces.
i cant even begin to describe.
all handcrafted and designed and dyed by this man, Itchiku Kubota.
go search for his name if you want to see more his work.
Shunyo
Cherry Blossom, blooming at the waterside in a glorious day in spring
the food, oh the food
hasnt disappointed so far..
every meal has been fantastic..
so many so many wonderful things to eat!!
Japan is all about the food i swearrrr...
and because its just a part of me,
and because i can,
i would just like to inform all my friends
that i finally shat today. HAHA!
after 3 whole days okay. you must know my agony haha
so. back to tokyo tomorrow!!
