HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!!!
we decided to have a reunion dinner here in melb by cooking a giant meal..
and boy, was it giant..
seafood fried rice, giant spanish omelette, sichuan soup, potato cutlets, brownies and jello..!!
heh it doesnt sound like a lot of food but we cooked so much..!! really!!
and i think i just spent something like 20 bucks calling my friend in sydney cos he just moved there and doesnt really know anyone there..! sheesh..
anyway, steph has left melbourne (as you all probably know by now)
and my room is all so lonely and empty..!!!
ive even lost my regular shitting pattern that i developed when she was here..
and theres no one to have late night rendezvous of cheese, crackers and wine with me..!
ive even gone back to my horrible sleeping pattern of going to bed at sunrise and waking up in the afternoon..! ughhhhhh
in any case, had a really really fun 10 days with steph in which we did so many crazy spontaneous things, and became such sua-kus and exhausted ourselves out with dirty activities everyday..!!!
trout fishing with ducks stealing out bait, one dollar box of mangoes, waterfall climbing at lorne and at the grampians, giant plate of nachos at the lounge, picnic on the beach with her sarong, crazy shopping at torquay and target, what can go through the green glass doors, the death of romeo and juliet, helicopter photos, singing with the military band of wooden men, atas dinner at the deck in lorne with free round of drinks and funky chairs and sweet waitresses, frisbee at carlton gardens, getting shushed by both my housemates, psycho playground at docklands (waterfront city), crazy ferry ride with crying children from st kilda to williamstown which featured a woman eating grey ice cream!, strawberry picking at sunny ridge with liz ray and uma, lying down on the grass/beach/seashells all over the place, little penguins coming home from the sea and climbing over us at philip island, lovely mango salad with rocket leaves and strawberries, spreading nutella in the huge ass toyota camry we rented, pancake parlour and the mirror of myrrh with liz ray jess and jamie, atas tapas place at st kilda called the pelican which we thought sold tacos, and even going to church at st francis!!
okay thats a lot of things i realise, but i just wanted to put everything down.!!
steph is the bestest travel companion ever..!!
and now i find out the poor girl has broken her leg..!!
i hope she gets well in time to go to europe..!!!

poor liz and ray lost their camera while they were here.. and it was her dad's SLR too..!!! lucky her dad wasnt too pissed.. but still..
what a horrible thing to happen to anyone on their holiday..!!
didnt see too much of them cos they were occupied with the aussie open, or steph and i were out gallavanting out of the city..!
which is a shame really..! at least we managed to sneak in breakfast, dinner and pancake parlour...!! on top of strawberry picking and penguin parade..!
well at least they had a great time at the aussie open, and fulfilled their shopping desires.. i hope!!
hahaha sorry i didnt manage to bring you guys out much, but hope you guys had fun anyway!
